Barry Wanderers entered into league cricket in Division 5 of Thomas Carroll East Wales Conference in 2000. This year the Wanderers' 1st XI will play in Division 3 of the Conference and the 2nd XI will now play in Division 2, the 1st XI gaining promotion in 2004, and the 2nd XI being promoted in 2007. There is also league cricket played in midweek, where we play in the First Division of the Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League. On Sundays, and on some weekday afternoons, there are friendlies played against teams from all over the Country. This years annual tour sees a return to the delights of Cornwall; the tour will take place a in the middle of September.
The Wanderers' home ground is at the new Hayes Point Complex, the old Sully Hospital, on Hayes Road in Sully.
