Date of Birth: - 17/12/1971 Weight: - Heavy Height:- 5ft 11 Nicknames: - Furny, Andy Furn, Casey (have to be a senior member to understand), Andy F, Junior. Gaydar (long story), Caerau and lately Elvis which is basically what the majority of the young population call me in Ely anyway. Previous Teams: - My first team were called the Booze Crew but had to change to The Bluebell when we joined the Cardiff midweek league as the name was not acceptable. A motley crew and in one of our first games our captain punched Mr Van Os who I believe is the groundsman as St Fagans. Cardiff Casuals and BBC Orchestra Batting Style:- Right hand bat who is usually aggressive but can try and hold an end up if need be. Have not batted much for the Wands if truth be told Bowling Style:- Bowling style was fastish but is now a mixture of dibbly dobblers and sometimes little swingers. This year have been bowling leg spin type things. I am not sure if I should turn into Dave Morgan or Ashy Best Batting: - 34 vs Llantwit Major Cavaliers 2nds Best Bowling: - I think I have taken five twice, once against walsall and once against the BBC so it wasnt exactly in the big games was it Wanderers Debut: - vs Sully 24 april 2004 I think, same one as Johnson. My previous game to that was against the Wands in Sep 03 when I had to go to hospital as I had done my ankle ligaments. I thought I had broke it and was being pushed around in a wheelchair and when I went to see the doctor (he looked like Nim)after the x ray he asked me why I was in a wheelchair. I am not a violent man but could have punched him. It took till january to be back to normal so I was happy just to play and rid my demons. Career Matches: - 45 Career Runs: - 177 Career Wickets: - 35 Career Catches: - 8 Career Stumpings: - 0 Song to walk on to: - honestly could never make my mind up over this, I think I would change it every week. It would probably nothing made in the last 20 years. Favourite Saying: - dont have one but I do tend to say "shot" a lot when watching or playing. Claim to fame: - I used to have my own web pages on the Glamorgan web site with a series called the Furnham Files. I used to get e-mails from all over the world. I once interviewed Michael Kasprowicz and a seagull decided to land a big shite on him. He manfully carried on and I told him it was lucky which he had never heard about. Next game at Durham he took 11 wickets in total and when I saw him next he straight away mentioned the lucky seagull. Separated at Birth:- Elvis Presley
